SCULPTURE MONUMENTALE "GOLFO"








The city of Lugano, Canton of Ticino (Swiss), has commissioned Didier Hays for a special order named GOLFO, a monumental sculpture for the gardens of Paradiso. It is made of stones taken in the river crossing the city and Russian steel painted in black.
The sculpture is opening on the lake and the mountains like a view through the rear sight of a rifle and points as the borders of Ticino on a map... It is a kind of rifle's sight front.
